History
The club started in its present form in 1997. Originally, it was just a men's team playing volleyball in the local SADVA (Southampton And District Volleyball Association) League. This team was formed from employees and friends of Roke Manor Research in Romsey. During the early days the men's team was successful at winning the local league, but this was followed by several years of decline when older players left the team. In the mid 90's there was a resurgence when they won the SADVA League Cup. At about this time, a decision was made to convert the team into a club, and several other successes were achieved in the SADVA League. Today we boast multiple Men's and Ladies' teams, who represent the club in the local and county leagues, and a current membership of over 40.
